Holjad is a pair of handmade earrings built around hand-painted sculptural forms, with each earring individually shaped and assembled. Jade, coral beads and freshwater pearls are incorporated into the design, along with gold-filled wire, chain and ear wires.
The earrings measure approximately 5 inches from the ear wire to the end of the chain and 1 inch at their widest point. The long gold-filled chain hangs freely, giving the earrings movement when worn.
Because the components are shaped, painted and assembled by hand, the two earrings are intentionally individual rather than perfectly symmetrical. Each earring carries its own handcrafted composition.
