“Pyramaniac” is a triptych acrylic work composed of three 20″ × 20″ × ½″ canvases, forming a continuous abstract interpretation of pyramids within a dramatic landscape.
The three pyramids extend across the individual canvases and connect them into one composition. I used shades of silver and gray for the structures against deep reds, browns, and black, with bright red and gold along their edges. The work reflects my fascination with pyramids while placing these familiar ancient forms within an imagined and almost otherworldly environment.
