“Forward”

Acrylic work created through broad, upward-moving bands of blue, turquoise, purple, gray, white, and black.
I created the composition around the idea of moving forward, using direction, color, and contrasting forms to express a sense of movement and progression. The lines rise and narrow as they travel through the painting, leaving the direction and destination open to interpretation.
