“Unscripted”

This work evolved from one idea into another, allowing the composition to develop without being confined to its original direction. As shapes, colors, and the human form began to interact, ideas gave way to emotion, and emotion began to steer the brush.
The elongated face emerges through intersecting fields of vivid color and muted gray, shifting between abstraction and portraiture. Strong geometric divisions contrast with the loose, expressive lines of the figure, while subtle shadows and variations within the painted surfaces give the composition additional depth.
For me, the piece reflects that point in the creative process where planning begins to disappear—where ideas collapse into emotion and inspiration takes over, guiding each brushstroke toward something that wasn’t entirely anticipated at the beginning.
