Zeblue

These one-of-a-kind earrings combine natural walnut shells with hand-painted acrylic, using metallic gold and pale blue accents to emphasize the shells’ organic ridges and contours. The exterior is decorated with alternating painted lines, while the gold-painted interior creates a warm setting for the beads contained within.
Inside each walnut shell, white Amazonite, carved bone beads and pearls form a small suspended composition, adding texture and contrast against the natural shell. Pale blue gemstone beads above the walnuts echo the painted blue details and bring continuity to the design.
Below, slender stainless-steel wire creates a long, airy drop accented with pearls and rectangular green jade beads, finishing the earrings with a clean geometric counterpoint to the irregular walnut forms.
The combination of natural shell, gemstones, bone, pearls, hand painting and metalwork gives these earrings the character of small mixed-media sculptures that reveal different details as they move.

Intentionally individual rather than perfectly symmetrical, each earring carries its own handcrafted composition.
